Samanatha graduated from a Bachelor of Applied Science (Oral Health) at University of Queensland in 2003. Sam began her career as a dental nurse and due to her aptitude and dedication was encouraged to study further. Her role in the practice as a dental hygienist / therapist is to complement the general dentists / specialist dentists and monitor the health of the teeth, tooth cleaning and prevention of gum disease. In keeping with our continuing education philosophy at David Cox Dental, Sam is one of the first hygienists in Australia to undertake laser training and accreditation.
